Continuing cultural vandalism in occupied Artsakh

After the occupation of Artsakh, Azerbaijan continues to destroy memorial complexes dedicated to the martyrs of the Artsakh liberation struggle. The latest act of vandalism targeted the monument in the village of Khndzristan, Askeran region, dedicated to the martyrs of the Artsakh and Great Patriotic Wars. It is noteworthy that Azerbaijanis specifically target monuments symbolizing the victories of the Armenian people and statues of national heroes. Azerbaijan’s primary goal is to "cleanse" the entire territory of Artsakh of Armenian identity and culture.
