The bust of Charles Aznavour is destroyed

Azerbaijan has systematically destroyed monuments from Artsakh's independence period. The latest act of vandalism involves the monument to Charles Aznavour. Erected on May 22, 2022, to commemorate the singer's centennial, the bust was located within the Charles Aznavour Cultural Center in Stepanakert. The center itself is located in the Armenian-French Friendship Park, near the Paul Éluard Francophonie Center.
