The Armenian Holy Trinity Church, located in the Turkish town of Sivrihisar, has been converted into a cultural center named “Zübeyde Hanım” for hosting conferences and seminars. Previously, the building also served as a cinema where erotic films were screened.
The presence of Armenians in Sivrihisar is documented as early as the 15th century. The Holy Trinity Church was built in the 17th century. In 1881, it was renovated during the tenure of Nerses II, Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople. This is evidenced by the Armenian inscription above the church entrance. The building was one of the largest Christian churches in Asia Minor.
In 2010, during renovation works, the church's interior walls were whitewashed, concealing the Armenian frescoes. In 2024, the building was vandalized, with inscriptions and carvings made on its walls.
