New archival discoveries on Armenian-Georgian historical relations

Within the framework of the ‘Armeno-Georgica’ international congress, researchers and historians Sopio Kadagishvili (Georgia, Tbilisi State University) and Manuchar Guntsadze (Georgia, National Centre of Manuscripts), affiliated with the Georgian Studies Programme at the University of Oxford, discussed their research at Oxford with the "Geghard" Foundation, offering a new perspective on historical Armenian-Georgian relations. The Oliver and Marjorie Wardrop Archive at the Bodleian Library, Oxford, contains undigitized archival materials relating to the South Caucasus from the early 20th century, including personal letters, official reports and personal-professional diaries, which reveal the perspective of the British High Commissioner in the Caucasus as an external observer.
