The National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia and “Geghard” foundation organize the international conference "Challenges in the Preservation of Historical and Cultural Heritage in the Post-Soviet Era".
The purpose of the conference is to bring together local and foreign researchers who focus on the preservation and publicization of cultural heritage, the conflicts that emerged in the post-Soviet period, and the controversial issues related to historical and cultural heritage.
The working languages of the conference are Armenian and English, with simultaneous translation available. Presenters are allotted a maximum of 15 minutes for their talk.
Abstracts of the papers will be published before the conference. Conference papers will be published as a collection after double review and recommendation for publication.
The expenses of conference participants from abroad (travel, accommodation, meals) will be covered.
Interested scholars are invited to submit their applications to the email address [email protected] by July 20, 2024, or fill the following form. The applications will undergo a review process, and applicants will be informed of the decision by July 25, 2024.
The conference organizing committee may reject applications that do not adhere to the conference requirements.
